Tips for getting ads relevant to your content

Some people make lots of money using AdSense. The more relevant the ads are to you visitors, the more income you will generate. One of the things you will need to do in order to earn money from AdSense is to have content rich sections of text within the page and to also strategically place keywords within the page. These are some tips which will help increase the success of your ads and the revenue you generate:

1. Have a list of keywords in the page title, example html:

2. At the top of the page, have a <h1> heading which contains some keywords, example html:

3. Emphasize any keywords that appear in the page by enclosing them in <em> </em> tags. In particular do this with the content that is towards the top of the page, example html:

5. Make use of Google target sectioning tags. This means surround the keyword rich content tags like in the code below:

4. Vary your keywords. Don't use the same keywords over and over again (as this may be considered spamming by AdSense). Think of different words that mean the same sort of thing e.g. instead of just using the word loan all the time, try and use other words or phrases such as 'borrow money' or 'mortgage' or 'debt'

6. If you have content on a page that you do not want adverts to be based upon then either take it out and put it on another page that does not contain adverts or turn it into an image.
