How to insert PoppyDog tools into your web site

For all our tools, you will find the information necessary to put a tool into your web site by going to the control panel for that particular tool and clicking on the button labelled 'URL/Code Paste'.

The simple way: Creating a link

Using our tools in your web site is as simple as creating a link to the tool somewhere on your web site. Lets say that you have created some forum boards using our ForumBoard Builder tool. In order to display the forum boards in your web site, all you have to do is add a link to the forum boards on a web page somewhere on your site. The 'URL/Code Paste' page for each tool will give you the URL needed to create the link. More information and examples can be found here: For beginners: How to create a link).

Slightly more advanced: Pasting HTML code

For some of our tools, we give you the option of pasting some HTML code into your web page rather than creating a link. We give HTML code when it is possible to embed the tool directly into a web page e.g. for tools such as voting polls, surveys and the login boxes which come with the Registration System and Password Protector. When HTML code is available, it will be given on the 'URL/Code Paste' page.
