Password Protecting a Blogger or Blogpot Blog

If you want to protect your blog so that when someone tries to view ANY of your blog web pages they have to enter the correct username/password first, this is how you do it:

1) In the Password Protector tool, assign a username and password to your blog home page (see Password Protector Help)

2) Go to the 'URL/Code Paste' page and copy the javascript that we give you under Method III:



3) Now you need to paste this javascript into your Blog template (in the <head> section). Like this:









Now when someone tries to view ANY of your blog web pages they will be asked to enter the correct username/password first
